WHAT IT'S NOT

A notary public is not a lawyer.

  • You can't give legal advice.
  • You can't draft legal documents.
  • You can't charge a fee to prepare immigration documents or represent anyone in immigration matters.
  • In Texas, you can't certify copies of birth, death, or marriage certificates.

Un "notary public" no es lo mismo que un notario público en América Latina.

  • No puede ejercer como abogado.
  • No puede dar asesoría legales ni preparar documentos legales.
  • No puede cobrar por preparar documentos migratorios o representar a alguien en materia de migración.
  • En Texas, no puedes certificar copias de actas de nacimiento, defunción o matrimonio.

WHAT IT IS

A notary public is someone authorized by the state to help with important documents. They:
  • Make sure signatures are real and signed willingly.
  • Help people make promises to tell the truth in legal matters.
  • Confirm copies of documents match the originals (but not public records).
  • Record when checks or payments are rejected.

How can I choose my courses?

There are a number of learning paths available, you may choose the one that best meets your requirements by reading them. However, if you need further information or advice, please contact us and our team will guide you to the appropriate program.

Can I contact other learners?

You can message and network with other learners participating in your course, and we encourage you to do so, so you can support one another during your learning process.

Is there a free trial?

Sadly, no. But if you are interested in joining our community, you can do so by signing up for one month for only 10$ and use most of our resources to decide which membership is right for you.
